Love love love Dr Koslow. The front desk is nice too. The building is a bit run down and dirty though. If they renovated it would be a five star review.
I have been bringing my new kittens to this vet for about two months now, and they are wonderful! The receptionists greet you so nicely and love talking to your pets, you get a free bag of goodies to help you start your pet's care the first time you visit, and the vets have all been extremely helpful. I also love their patient portal, which allows me to schedule appointments online and see when my pet's vaccinations are due.
I have to give this place two stars because the front staff was horrible. I literally listened to their whole conversation about how one of the girls owed her 5 dollars. Then she proceeded to tell the girl to bring her in left overs... On my way out the girl who gave me my paper work and prescriptions "Jana", was nasty and snippy when I told her I had a medicated question for the vet. She then proceeded to take a picture of my dog without even asking me! She just stood up and snapped it with the iPad. The only reason I'm giving them two stars was because the vet I saw was really sweet and helpful. I will not be going back because the front staff made my experience that terrible. Also, the place really needs a makeover.
My dogs name is Ace! He recently has been going here to hangout and enjoy some company from Jackie when she's free throughout the day. Jackie voluntarily comes an hour early than her normal work hours just to meet me so I can drop off Ace and go to school. When I drop him off he is nothing but excited to be going here to relax and see other dogs! This place may not be all done up, but it sure feels like a cozy, pet friendly environment that makes me comfortable to be dropping my dog here 3 times a week.
Had to take the cat here and the staff were awesome. He's feisty and scratched bit at the last very, but he was calm and nice here. Maybe they have a better vibe. No problem getting a same day appointment.
