Went to look for a tv and Managers James and Rosa gave me a great deal. I opened up a new Card and they gave me 12 months to pay for it. They played a demo of a sound system which sounded amazing. I told them that it was way out of my budget. They offered my 18 months!!!! I agreed and they even GUARANTEED the price through Black Friday.
Stuart literally saved Thanksgiving. I ordered a microwave 6 weeks ago from Best Buy and after 3 unqualified delays and needs for rescheduling delivery, the thing was FINALLY delivered today ( the day before Thanksgiving). I’m thinking I dodged a bullet but nope. they had ordered and sent an incompatible installation kit to install the microwave with! I went into the Best Buy store hoping to get ANY microwave that would work but they didn’t have a single compatible microwave in stock. At ANY store on the island. So now after 6 weeks of worrying this would happen, my minor nightmare came true- I had no microwave and Thanksgiving in 13 hours. I walked into PC Richard with fingers crossed and Stuart showed me not 1 but 3 microwaves that were not only compatible with the kit Best Buy sent me, but they were all available for pick up immediately and were HALF the price!! Seriously. It was my own little holiday miracle. I will never shop for appliances anywhere else. Stuart is a knowledgeable pro who simply got my problem solved- quickly, calmly and compassionately. When we entered the store this afternoon, two younger salesmen ignored us. It looked like we were the only customers there. Finally, a very nice older salesman named Dave asked if he could help. We needed a small am/fm alarm clock. We came in to see the Sony. They only had the display model, and it was pretty beat up. The price was supposed to be $19.99. There was no box, no owner's manual, and the unit looked used with all the cosmetic blemishes. I believed it was functional, so we offered Dave $8.00 for it. He graciously went to check with the manager. The unfriendly, almost rude manager told us in no uncertain terms that he had to get $15.00 for it. We thanked Dave ( the only good part of our visit ) for his time and trouble before heading across the street to Best Buy to look for the Sony there. We were escorted to the area where the units were by Matt. He treated us like we were potentially buying a big ticket item. He found the Sony, showed us how it worked, and made sure we were happy. He was friendly, professional, and we felt valued as customers. Today we needed a small item. When we need anything else, we will go directly to Best Buy and ask for Matt.
Always have a great experience at this PC Richards. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Manager Steve is awesome. Literally becoming our one stop shop place. Just got TV's, washer and dryer, and even a mattress. Prices are very competitive, quality great, customer service excellent.
I would definitely consider myself a picky shopper who does her research before purchasing. I did not feel comfortable buying my kitchen appliances anywhere until I walked into this store. I worked with Hoss and he educated me on the products, citing pros and cons of each until I felt one hundred certain of what I wanted. I noticed Steve, the manager, was very hands on, making sure we were happy and checking to see if we got the best prices. I’m so happy with my products and will recommend PC Richard in Elwood to my friends and customers, as I am in the kitchen remodeling business myself. Thanks guys !
